Tobi also contributes to the school newspaper and volunteers for various organizations on campus because she loves to meet people and learn news skills. Tobi has a passion for writing, helping people, and public speaking. She is also passionate about women’s issues, women’s equality, social justice, political justice and education for students.

Tobi has high aspirations for her future, when discussing her future she said, "When I graduate from college, I want to go to graduate school and study International Development and Gender Politics. I want to help people in developing countries and I hope to be able to continue my life goals. Long term, I want to have my foundation to help women. I want to train women, mentor women, help fundraise money for less privileged women and children, restoring trauma victims, investing in business for women and writing stories of hope to encourage other women in the world. I also want to be able to work for different Governments so that I can learn other languages and skills to help others. My biggest goal is to lecture at various universities because I love to be an impact in knowledge and I like how my own professors have supported me and I want to do that for others. This scholarships has really helped me. This scholarship helped me to stay in school, see potential in myself and be a better student leader. It really made me the leader I am today."
