University Chronicle: New ‘Free Speech Club’ at St. Cloud State Puts Up ‘Its Okay to be White’ Sign

“A new Free Speech Club announced by St. Cloud State University (SCSU) students on Wednesday in the Atwood Memorial Center encountered some student opposition to the group’s message. The President of the Free Speech Club, Mathias Eike, seated alongside his colleagues at a booth, presented the newly instituted student organization with a sign taped to the front that read “IT’S OKAY TO BE WHITE.”

NYTimes: New Title IX Rules Announced by Dept. of Education

“Education Secretary Betsy DeVos unveiled a highly anticipated overhaul on Friday of the rules governing campus sexual assault, reducing the liability of colleges and universities for investigating sexual misconduct claims and bolstering the due process rights of defendants, including the right to cross-examine their accusers.”

Students United opposes these new Title IX rules and regulations.
