This document is essential to the advocacy work of the organization. It is the broad collection of all of Students United’s stances. Our legislative agendas and program outcomes use it as a reference. The board can amend it any time and students are encouraged to use it as a resource and reach out with any questions or suggested amendments.

Additional Resources

Students United Glossary

With nonprofit, student association, Minnesota State system, and state and federal government intersections, Students United often refers to a number of different things as acronyms in addition to referencing numerous partner organizations, using government terminology, and other descriptors. We’ve created a glossary that defines the acronyms, words, terms, partners, etc. that we frequently use.

Parliamentary Procedure Glossary

Students United uses Robert’s Rules of Order to conduct meetings efficiently. We do not expect our students to be experts at using parliamentary procedure - so we created a resource for students to refer to when participating in Students United committee and board meetings.
