Hello!

My name is Kalista Mangahas and I am excited to introduce myself as the new Office Manager for Students United! I can’t wait to meet and work with all of you.

A little about myself: I was born and raised in Fargo, ND, so I am fairly new to the Twin Cities area.

I graduated from Minnesota State University, Moorhead with a BA in Communication Studies.

During the end of my college career, I discovered my passion for helping others and realized that nonprofit work is the best fit for me. I am very honored that Students United chose me to join their team as they strive to help students find their voices and advocate for Minnesota students in the Minnesota State system. I admire the work that this organization has done and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the future.

Other fun facts about me: I am a major movie buff and I may slip in obscure movie references from time to time. I enjoy learning new skills, so you may find me at community classes like beginning cooking, archery, or (my personal favorite) interpretive dance! I also love to hike. If you know any great hiking trails in Minnesota, let me know.
