System Relations Fellowship

The System Relations Fellow is responsible for the management, attendance, and facilitation of Students United’s efforts at the Minnesota State system level including advocating for organizational objectives and positions. This position will serve as a liaison between Students United and the System as well as advise on System issues. They will develop strong relationships with key stakeholders at Minnesota State including staff, the Chancellor’s office, and the Board of Trustees. They will have knowledge of relevant higher education issues, policies, and proposals as well as full knowledge of Students United’s platform, objectives, and mission. The fellow will work closely with the entire Students United team to advance system-level initiatives.

Organizing Fellowship

The Organizing Fellow is responsible for the supervision, management and oversight of the Students United campus committees. The campus committees are teams of students employed by Students United to represent and advocate for our interests and goals. The fellow will facilitate the relationship between Students United staff, including the Advocacy Team, and the campus committees. Using the direction and guidance of the Advocacy Team, the fellow will be in charge of implementing the goals for the campus committees, engaging the students on the committees, and ensuring that Students United, and our platform and organizational objectives, are being represented and advanced on the campuses.
