About the Community Leader Fellowship 

Each year, the Community Leader Fellowship empowers seven Minnesota State students to lead with purpose through a year-long, paid, cohort-based program. Fellows gain hands-on internship experience, equity-centered training, and mentorship, building real-world skills in advocacy, nonprofit leadership, policy, finance, and communications — and the confidence to drive meaningful change on their campuses, in their communities, and beyond. 

As one Fellow shared: “The Fellowship changes lives by empowering students to ask better questions, build community, and shape systems. If you want to invest in equity, justice, and the future of higher education — this is where you start.” 

Your ticket — and any additional support — ensures Fellows receive fair wages, mentorship, and the opportunities they need to become the next generation of leaders for our campuses, communities, and beyond.
