Health insurance can be confusing.
Students, both domestic and international, struggle with the cost of health insurance and unexpected health care bills.
Part of the problem can be the lack of clarity in the U.S. healthcare system.
Why doesn't my doctor take my insurance? Why am I still paying for a hospital visit, despite having insurance? How do I know what providers are in-network, and who is out-of-network?
Students United seeks to answer some of these questions, and help students understand their health insurance and hopefully avoid some of the confusion and the financial burden that comes with the cost of healthcare.
This toolkit is for all students, including international students.
