Student Debt Cancellation Fund is a special project by Students United to eliminate student loan debt created by higher education institutions in Minnesota.

The Student Debt Crisis: Why It Matters

The $1.8 trillion student loan crisis impacts 45 million Americans, with rising debt delaying homeownership for 400,000 young adults and reducing small business formation by 14.4%. State funding for public colleges has dropped nearly 50% since 1980, shifting costs to students. Without reform, mounting debt will continue to weaken consumer spending and economic growth.
